Child Health Plus

Don’t let your child’s health insurance coverage end!

If your child has Healthfirst Child Health Plus, you must renew your child’s plan once a year, on or before the anniversary of when you signed up.

Here’s what you need to know:
  • You will receive a notice from either Healthfirst, NY State of Health (NYSOH), the Human Resources Administration (HRA), or the Local Departments of Social Services (LDSS) before your child’s anniversary date. Make sure you open and read the notice to get all the details about how to renew your child's health insurance plan.
  • If you do not already have an online account, create one at NYSOH today so you can:
    • Confirm or update your mailing address
    • Confirm or update your language preference
  • If your income changed during the year and you were switched to another health insurance plan, or your plan was canceled or denied, it’s not too late. You may still be eligible for another health insurance plan.

We can help you through the renewal process and answer your questions. Our dedicated reps can even contact you and NY State of Health to coordinate the renewal of your child's health insurance.

Let us know how we can help. Just complete the form to the right and we will contact you.
